The RipTide Car Wash

This place used to be very convenient until i was public embarrassed by the staff. I was told my car was was banned be cause i made a “false claim” against the company about charges to my card. I lost my debit card and got a new one. With my new card i only payed as i went i didn’t subscribe to car wash service for the fall/winter season. I noticed i was being charged monthly on a brand new card that i never signed up to be billed from . I came back around march / April and was told i was banned because i “used the car wash a bunch of time but disputed the subscription” i find this to be highly false because why in the world would i be trying to wash my car in the winter as much as i would in the spring/fall. I contacted customer service to get to the bottom of everything and never received an email back . Which just makes this all look like a scam . Because only once charge was disputed not months or years worth . Very unfair place . Very embarrassing having to drive out of the drive thru because staff is basically accusing me of trying to get over on them .

I’ve been bringing my car here ever since it opened, and the staff has always been polite and professional. They keep the station clean and ensure it is always stocked with plenty of clean towers and supplies. The price for car washing is affordable. I have a monthly subscription, and I love it.

Great experience at RipTide in Newport News Va.. We are members in Dallas NC and wanted the pollen off our car. We were staying in Williamsburg Va. and drove down(15 miles) to get a wash. It was great, great service and very clean washed car when we left. Very clean area and overall very very satisfied with this facility. It's a little larger than our hometown RipTide and everything about the wash was above our expectations. We highly recommend the Newport News Riptide if you're in that area! Thank You, Jack and Chris Ray

Love to bring my car here. We’ve been loyal customers for more than a year. Recommended to all my friends and colleagues. Staffs always greet us warmly and make us feel welcome. Awesome and professional management especially Isaiah, no matter how busy he is, always provide the best customer service and patiently solve problems for us. This facility is well-organized, car wash itself is thorough and efficient. Highly recommend!

I have to say, coming to Rip Tide on Jefferson and Deer Park is always a great experience. From the GM, Tony, to staff members like Isaiah, everyone goes above and beyond to make sure my car looks perfect before I leave. The towels and cleaning supplies are always stocked, and the vacuums are powerful and easy to use. The team really takes pride in keeping the place clean and making customers feel taken care of. If you’re looking for a reliable spot to detail your car, I highly recommend stopping by and making this your go-to place.
